Meet Dr. Lam

Dr. Xuan Lam is originally from Buffalo, New York and grew up in the Charlotte area where her family has been since 2000. She received her bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a minor in Hispanic studies. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry. Dr. Lam has a passion for her profession and enjoys providing her patients with the best care.

Dr. Lam is an active member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, North Carolina Dental Society, Charlotte Dental Society, and Greater Charlotte Study Club. She values continuous learning and growth and believes in improving her skills and staying up to date by taking continuing education courses, including the Pankey Institute and Seattle Study Club. She is also a certified Invisalign provider. Dr. Lam is grateful for the opportunity to give back to her community by improving their oral health. She volunteers her time to provide dental care at the North Carolina Missions of Mercy Clinics and has also been involved in dental mission trips to Honduras and Nicaragua.

In her spare time, Dr. Lam enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She loves traveling, cooking, spending time outdoors, and working out. You can frequently find her cheering on the Carolina Tar Heels and Carolina Panthers!
